My story starts about 16 years ago. I was working as Director of Food Services at the Adams Friendship School District. The Adams Theatre was closing. I helped pack up the videos from the video store. After that I took a hiatus from working with the theater group but then saw an advertisement looking for help. I thought, “Oh what the hey! This could be something fun.” I’m not a front stage actor type person but I like to help on the backside, working with people and concessions. They asked me to be on the board. I’ve been on the board for several three year rotations. I enjoy being around the theater people, many who have worked in service provider positions. I intend to stick around as long as I am in the area and maybe after. Being part of this community owned business is very rewarding and I appreciate the friendships that I have made.
