A $250 deposit is required at least one week before this event. Please include a separate check for $250. This check will be returned shortly after the event to the User if the theatre is left reasonably clean and with no damage. This deposit will be forfeited if the event is cancelled by the User without notifying ACT. If the User notifies ACT up to 48 hours in advance of the event, the cancellation fee will be $50. If the building, furnishings, or equipment are damaged or if the theatre is not left in a pre-rental condition, all or part of the deposit will be forfeited to pay for damages and/or cleaning.
Upon the request of the User, ACT will sell its usual concessions at its usual prices. ACT will keep 100% of this revenue. ACT expects a minimum concession gross of $50. If sales are under $50, the User must pay ACT the difference between $50 and sales.
With pre-approval from ACT, other food and beverages may be brought into the theatre. If other food and/or drinks are desired, please specify what you would like to do.
If the User causes vandalism or damages beyond normal wear-and-tear, the User will be responsible for the actual cost of materials and labor to restore the theatre and/or its equipment to the condition before the event. ACT will deduct the cost for repair/replacement from the security deposit. If the damage exceeds the security deposit, the User will pay the remaining balance no later than five (5) business days after receiving a statement from ACT of the damage.
Under no circumstances shall ACT be liable for economic losses incurred by User. ACT will not be responsible for property that is lost or stolen during the User’s use of the facility. The User shall indemnify and hold ACT harmless against liability to others arising out of User’s use of the premises. At the discretion of the ACT Board of Directors, the User may be required to provide proof of adequate liability insurance coverage covering the period of facility use to ACT at least one week prior to the event.
The rental, projection, and other fees are due at the time the Agreement is signed and returned to ACT. The Security Deposit is required in a separate check at least one week before the event. (Checks are preferred to cash.)
